The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor, part of Circle Health Group, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our friendly nursing team on a 30-hour-per-week, permanent basis, with flexible shift coverage.

The role demands leadership of the nursing team, delivering high-quality care, and coordinating with multidisciplinary colleagues to support patient-centred decisions. NMC registration and substantial post‑registration experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients.

• Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and manage workload across the shift to ensure patient safety.
• Uphold a culture of safety with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting.

Salary: Up to £41,000.00 FTE per year

Overview

The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working in the nursing department. This is a part time role at 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties Of This Role Include

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and lead on the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for complex patients
• Use advanced clinical knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions, escalating where necessary.
• Administer medication safely and monitor patient response, ensuring adherence to NMC and local protocols.
• Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring safe and effective workload management across the shift.
• Uphold a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with infection prevention, safeguarding, medicines management, and risk reporting procedures.
• Act as a key contact for patients and their families, offering clinical updates, reassurance, and information to support shared decision‑making.
• Liaise effectively with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure smooth transitions between services.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with active NMC registration.
• Significant post-registration experience in an acute or relevant clinical setting.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and support a nursing team.
• Strong clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient‑focused approach.
• Confidence in working independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a senior or supervisory nursing role desirable.
