Job summary

CareTech is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our adult residential services for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. You will be accountable for safe, high-quality care, driving performance, staff engagement, and continuous improvement.

You will shape a positive culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee recruitment, development, and safeguarding across the service.

Qualifications

Level 5 Health & Social Care qualification (or working towards).
Leadership/Management qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
IOSH Working Safely (desirable).
Experience as a CQC/CIW Registered Manager.
Experience safeguarding adults and working with statutory authorities.
Strong experience in team leadership, recruitment, and performance management.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage adult residential services to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Maintain compliance with CQC/CIW standards through audits and reporting.
Oversee budgets, occupancy, and delivery of commissioned hours.
Recruit, mentor, train and appraise staff; conduct meaningful supervisions.
Provide regular performance reports and drive continuous service improvement.
