About the role
The Role
The Role:
Our Tanker Services division provides a variety of waste services from small portable toilets to larger industrial projects such as septic tanks, serving customers across the country. We are looking for a Senior Regional Tanker Driver to join our busy Midlands region.
As a Senior Regional Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for waste removal from customer sites and delivery of non-potable water. You must ensure tankers are in a safe working position before emptying toilets and that all procedures follow environmental and H&S regulations.
Based out of a local depot, you will travel throughout the region, covering for sickness, holidays, or additional resource needs. You will also train new and existing 26t Tanker Drivers on safe delivery and waste collection.
Additionally, you will supervise a team of 26t tanker drivers within a defined region, working closely with the logistics team and head of tanker services to motivate and develop the team, ensuring training is up-to-date and processes are followed.
About You
Successful applicants should demonstrate:
• Significant experience in an HGV driving role
• Experience in the Welfare industry (desirable)
• Class 2 driving licence, Driver CPC (minimum 35 hours), and valid Digital Tachograph card
• People supervision experience in the driving/hire industry (preferable)
• Understanding of Health & Safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills
• Management experience (desirable)
