Job summary

City FM in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to service an extensive UK supermarket estate. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on CO₂ and conventional systems across multiple stores, with a clear on-call rota and defined earnings.

The role offers a competitive base salary plus an OTE, with a 40-hour week, a joining bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare and pension.

Qualifications

• Essential refrigeration/AC qualifications and a full UK driving licence.
• Experience with CO₂ systems and hydrocarbons preferred.
• F-Gas Category 1 and electrical fault finding knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across retail sites.
• Diagnose faults and advise repair or replacement where needed.
• Complete PPMs, reactive tasks and store visits.
• Carry out minor alterations or installations within competence.

Skills

NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigerat.

F-Gas Category 1

Full UK driving licence

CO₂ refrigeration

Hydrocarbon refrigeration

IPAF / MEWPS training

Electrical fault finding / Wiring Reg

Education
