Job summary

City Facilities Management Holdings Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to support a major UK supermarket estate. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on retail sites, handling CO₂ systems and ensuring faults are diagnosed with effective repairs.

The role includes a defined patch, on‑call rota, and clear earnings structure. Basic salary is £46,791 per annum with additional SLA payments and an OTE of £55k–£60k; on-call rota is 1 in 4 weeks.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & AC is essential.
• F-Gas Category 1 certification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites.
• Work with CO2 refrigeration pack systems.
• Diagnose faults and advise on repair or replacement.
• Complete PPMs, reactive work and repairs during store visits.
• Carry out small alterations and installations within your competence.
