Job summary

JLB Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to perform planned maintenance and fault finding on industrial refrigeration equipment. You will work with CO2 and A2L systems and ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies.

Applicants should have NVQ3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and FGAS handling, with at least 3 years’ experience in refrigeration and familiarity with SAP/ERP systems. UK standards knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning required.
• FGAS Refrigerant Handling (2079) required.
• At least 3 years’ experience in refrigeration systems.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP.
• Experience with CO2 and A2L systems.
• Knowledge of UK and international standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on refrigerations systems and plant.
• Fault finding, breakdowns and servicing of refrigeration equipment.
• Maintain and service CO2, hydrocarbons, and secondary systems.
• Record equipment history and complete quality documentation.
• Ensure work meets standards, safety policies and deadlines.
• Maintain van stock levels and complete handovers to colleagues.
