Location: Hybrid OR fully office based role to suit; can be either WFH/Office based in very social and beautiful offices in Harrogate Town Centre (HG1 1EP)

Following our most successful year yet, we're expanding and looking for an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant to work within our successful Scientific Supplies and Life Science business.

In this Senior 360 recruitment consultant role, you'll manage the full recruitment cycle for clients across the UK, Europe, and North America. You’ll work closely with your clients, filling roles from mid to senior level, while staying up to date with industry trends. With a generous, uncapped commission structure, your earnings are driven by your results.

We’re looking for someone with:
  • At least 3-5 years of successful permanent recruitment experience in scientific, medical devices, technical, professional, commercial, engineering/manufacturing or similar sector.
  • A passion for new business, sales and recruitment.
  • A strong sales track record and drive to succeed.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven ability to generate leads, manage full recruitment cycles, and consistently deliver fee generation.
Duties as a full 360 Senior Recruitment Consultant include:
Client Side
  • Source vacancies using various channels including internet, social media, conferences, and events.
  • Agree Terms of Business, timescales, key milestones to fill roles, and generate revenue monthly.
  • Approach existing clients and contacts in Scientific Supplies, Laboratory, or Life Science companies, as well as new decision-makers, via telephone or Teams.
  • Write adverts for the company website and job portals to attract applicants.
  • Network with existing accounts and industry contacts to source new vacancies and secure appointments.
  • Identify leads and convert them into recruiting opportunities through social media, competitor awareness, and networking.
  • Book and conduct job briefings with clients to convert into live jobs and fees.
  • Attend client meetings, either face-to-face or via Teams, to build relationships and win new business.
  • Maintain and update the CRM database with client details and contact information.
Candidate/Resourcing Side
  • Source and select candidates using internet and telephone.
  • Head hunt and approach candidates directly for requirements.
  • Search applicant portals like LinkedIn to attract candidates.
  • Network with industry contacts to source suitable candidates.
  • Match candidates to vacancies based on skills and experience.
  • Profile and interview candidates for specific jobs.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients.
  • Negotiate offers and start dates.
  • Maintain the candidate and client database.
  • Handle administrative duties such as interview confirmations, CV formatting, and Right to Work checks.

This is a full-time, permanent role that can be fully office-based or hybrid/WFH, Monday to Friday, with flexible start/finish times. We promote a healthy work/life balance. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, a valid driver’s license, and passport without travel restrictions. Full training and ongoing mentorship will be provided to support your success as a Senior 360 Recruitment Consultant.
