Job summary

IT2 in London is seeking an experienced Wi‑Fi Engineer to lead large‑scale enterprise deployments across stadiums, airports, hospitals, and campuses. You will design, install, and validate wireless networks, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable connectivity.

The role covers Aruba, Cisco Meraki, Juniper, and Ruckus gear, with CCNA or equivalent and CWNA/Ekahau ECSE preferred. Expect travel to client sites worldwide and a fast‑paced, expert squad environment.

Qualifications

• CWNA certification or equivalent
• Ekahau ECSE or similar routing/survey expertise
• CCNA or equivalent networking fundamentals
• Experience with Aruba/Cisco Meraki/Ruckus wireless gear
• Willingness to travel internationally for deployments

Responsibilities

• Conduct Ekahau predictive surveys and post-installation validations for enterprise venues
• Deploy and commission Aruba, Cisco Meraki, and Ruckus wireless infrastructure
• Install, configure, and test LAN/WAN infrastructure at client sites
• Design, install, and validate DAS for large venues

Wi-Fi Contract

London, UK / Global Travel

Conduct Ekahau predictive and post-installation Wi-Fi surveys for enterprise venues. CWNA or Ekahau ECSE preferred.

Deploy and commission Aruba, Cisco Meraki, and Ruckus wireless infrastructure across large-scale venues and campuses.

Commission and validate enterprise Wi-Fi networks post-installation, producing detailed survey reports and remediation plans.

Install, configure, and test LAN/WAN infrastructure including switches, routers, and structured cabling at enterprise client sites.

Deploy Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba network equipment across multi-site enterprise rollouts. CCNA or equivalent required.

Hands‑on installation, commissioning, and maintenance of data centre infrastructure including cabling, racks, and power systems.

Install and dress structured cabling, fibre, and copper within hyperscale and enterprise data centre environments to exacting standards.

Commission and validate data centre infrastructure including power, cooling, and network systems. Experience with DCIM tools preferred.

Install and commission fibre, copper, and structured cabling systems for telecoms operators and enterprise clients.

Design, install, and commission Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for stadiums, airports, and large public venues.

Perform fusion splicing, termination, and testing of single-mode and multi-mode fibre optic cabling across enterprise and telecoms projects.

Deploy and configure end‑user hardware, peripherals, and IT infrastructure at client sites globally. ITIL Foundation preferred.

Provide on‑site Level 2 IT support across enterprise client environments. Experience with Windows, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 required.

Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and endpoint protection across client infrastructure. SC clearance or equivalent preferred.

Install and commission AV, digital signage, and supporting IT infrastructure for stadiums, arenas, and enterprise venues worldwide.

Source and place specialist engineers across Wi‑Fi, network, data centre, and telecoms disciplines. Proven 360 recruitment background required.

Own the full contract recruitment cycle for IT infrastructure engineers. Experience in contract/contingency markets essential.

Support senior recruiters with candidate sourcing, screening, and pipeline management across our core engineering disciplines.
