The Senior Recruiter at Methuen Construction Company, Inc. plays a vital role in supporting the company.

Your Role

• Manage the hiring process for all positions
• Post jobs and manage postings on all internal/external job boards
• Manage and attend career fairs, community networking events, local colleges/high schools, etc.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions for all positions
• Identify appropriate and innovative sourcing mechanisms/avenues
• Actively source candidates, screen candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers. Sourcing will include office-based work and on the road throughout the region
• Schedule and confirm interviews with Candidates and follow up post-interview
• Generate offer letters and issues to candidates
• Manage all candidate activity in applicant tracking system.
• Maintain a database of sourced candidates for future consideration
• Stay abreast of industry trends in recruitment
• Manage background checks, pre-employment physicals, & pre-employment drug screening
• Research and prepare compensation analysis
• Ensure job openings are publicized via appropriate recruiting avenues, social media, print advertisement, professional organizations, etc.
• Communicate with and manage external recruiters

Your Experience

• Minimum 5 years of recruiting experience. Construction or related industry preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability to lift a minimum of 10-25 lbs.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Able to function in a standard office setting
