Job summary

As a Senior Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the Front of House at The Wellington Hospital. You will ensure a caring and efficient patient experience from start to finish, providing high-quality customer care to internal and external clients.

This is a great opportunity to work in a wonderful location as part of our friendly and supportive Primary Care team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training and shadowing new receptionists
  • Uniform checks and ordering
  • Organising and coordinating requests within the Front of House remit
  • Printing security passes on site
  • Conducting H&S audits, cardiac bleep, emergency radio, lift telephone, and other audits
  • Logging requests and monitoring the Teletracking portal to ensure all duties are completed
  • Ordering courier services and transportation
  • Coordinating patient transfers via shuttle
  • Stationery orders
  • Working closely with supervisors and providing feedback on patient experience
  • Covering breaks in North/South/PMC areas
  • Deputising for the Front of House Supervisor

Qualifications and skills:

  • A good general education
  • Previous reception experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Ability to work flexibly and accurately with changing priorities, maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality, customer-focused service
  • A friendly, can-do attitude
