Job summary

Rebellion is seeking an experienced Senior VFX Artist to lead real-time visual effects for a new large-scale shooter project. Work across concept to final implementation, in collaboration with design, art and code leadership to shape gameplay and storytelling.

You will mentor junior artists, push for high-quality effects, and help establish efficient pipelines while ensuring performance budgets. The role supports relocation to Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn with full relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in real-time VFX.
• Strong portfolio showing timing, artistry, and technical execution.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior artists and setting high craft standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality real-time visual effects from concept to final implementation.
• Collaborate with design, art and code leadership to shape gameplay experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid-level artists and share best practices.
• Establish efficient workflows and pipelines for the VFX team.
• Contribute to documentation and effect libraries for the team.
• Maintain performance budgets and optimize effects for gameplay.
