Job summary

Icon Solutions is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead end-to-end design and engineering for the Icon Payments Framework (IPF) engagements from pre-sales through go-live.

You will combine a strong back-end development background (Java) with modern architectural patterns, agile delivery, and cloud/Microservices expertise to deliver scalable, real-time payment solutions for major banks and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing end-to-end architectures for real-time transactional systems.
• Strong back-end background (Java) and familiarity with software patterns.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native delivery.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs for IPF.
• Review and enrich solution designs for engineering teams.
• Lead architecture governance and design authority sessions with clients.
• Collaborate with clients and internal squads to define implementable features.
