Job summary

Aircall is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Analytics & Data Platform team. You will manage our analytics and event platform stack, delivering near real-time insights and data-driven decisions for 22,000+ customers worldwide.

You will design scalable streaming solutions, optimize data models, and work with AWS-based technologies like Kinesis, Redshift, and Airflow. A strong background in data processing and production-grade code is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience with near real-time analytics.
• 5+ years experience with a modern programming language such as Scala, Python, Go, Typescript.
• Experience designing complex data processing pipelines and data modeling in AWS Redshift.
• Experience with query optimization and production code shipping.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and translate business needs into data models and optimize for big data.
• Develop scalable, low-latency streaming platform solutions.
• Write clean scalable code using Scala, Python, and SQL and deploy applications.
• Identify slow queries and optimize performance.
• Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Participate in product and platform performance optimization.
