Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking an experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join a Top 100 UK law firm in Exeter. Hybrid working and a focus on residential development, strategic land and development-led transactions offer a high-quality workload with national clients.

You will handle complex acquisitions, disposals and development agreements within a supportive team. The role requires 5+ years' PQE in commercial real estate, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to client

Qualifications

Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in commercial real estate.
Strong experience in residential development, strategic land or development-led property transactions.
Experience advising developers, landowners, housebuilders or registered providers would be advantageous.
Strong technical, drafting and negotiation skills.
A genuine interest in business development and client relationship management.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally.
Ambition to develop your profile and contribute to the growth of a leading practice.

Responsibilities

Residential development acquisitions and disposals.
Strategic land transactions, including promotion agreements and option agreements.
Affordable housing acquisitions and disposals.
Conditional contracts and development agreements.
Overage arrangements and easements.
Title due diligence and site set-up work.
Supporting clients through the full development lifecycle.
