Job summary

Alo Yoga is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Counsel to establish and scale our real estate operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. The role requires a strategic, hands-on attorney capable of operating independently in a fast-moving environment with limited infrastructure.

The successful candidate will oversee commercial leasing, construction agreements, and general real estate matters while partnering with design, construction, finance, and operations teams to align

Qualifications

• Law degree from a leading university and strong academic credentials.
• Qualified to practice law in the UK or EU; admission to a U.S. state bar or qualification in another common law jurisdiction is a plus
• Five to ten years of relevant real estate legal experience, with a meaningful combination of work at a leading international or UK/EU law firm and/or in‑house at a multinational company operating in Europe
• Familiarity with Europe's retail industries is a strong plus
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Outstanding analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self‑starter with ability to balance many projects simultaneously and complete tasks accurately, on schedule and with minimal supervision
• Willingness to take initiative and work flexible hours to accommodate collaboration with U.S.-based teams

• Partner cross‑functionally with business groups across the organization‑including design, construction, finance and operations‑to align legal strategy with business objectives.
• Negotiate and administer design professional contracts.
• Manage outside counsel, including scope, budget, and performance oversight.
• Provide responsive, practical, and timely legal advice to business stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Identify and manage legal risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
