Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Reactor Technologist to drive the growth of its Advanced Reactors business across the UK and international nuclear markets. In a senior, client-facing role, you’ll blend deep technical expertise with commercial acumen and strategic business development.

You will work with Operations leadership to develop client relationships, identify opportunities and lead technical delivery across projects, providing consultancy across nuclear technologies and deployment strategies,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of nuclear industry experience.
• Experience across reactor technologies and deployment programmes.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of reactor design, licensing, safety and regulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Advanced Reactors growth strategy.
• Build relationships with UK and international clients.
• Identify opportunities and lead technical delivery.
• Provide expert advisory on reactor technology selection, licensing and safety.
