Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior React Developer to join a high-performing data and digital engineering team on a strategic project for a leading UK bank. This role is delivered via a top-tier consultancy and involves the development of enterprise-grade web applications within a cloud-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain scalable web applications using React.js within a full-stack environment.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, backend developers, and business stakeholders.
  
• Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces.
  
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and cloud-based services.
  
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies.
  

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
  
• Advanced knowledge of React.js and familiarity with modern React patterns (hooks, context, etc.).
  
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
  
• Experience working with .NET, C#, or similar backend frameworks (beneficial for full-stack capability).
  
• Knowledge of cloud services, preferably Azure.
  
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or CosmosDB.
  
• Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub for version control and CI/CD.
  
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in financial services or highly regulated environments.
  
• Experience working within large-scale digital transformation projects.
  

This role is working inside IR35 via umbrella company, and will require 1-2 days work onsite per week.
