Job summary

Henderson Scott is seeking a Senior React Engineer to join its Manchester engineering team. You’ll design, build and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps using React, TypeScript and Capacitor for Android and iOS.

You’ll collaborate with UX designers, backend engineers and product owners to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions and ensure performance and security across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building hybrid mobile apps with Capacitor.
• Advanced React and TypeScript skills with modern front-end architecture.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and deploying to App Stores.
• Familiarity with mobile security and accessible UI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile apps using React and Capacitor.
• Create reusable, accessible front‑end components and testable code.
• Integrate native capabilities and third‑party plugins.
• Collaborate with UX, backend engineers and product owners.
• Ensure performance, reliability and security across Android and iOS.
