We are looking for Senior Reablement Support Assistant to join an established team within the city-wide Reablement Service.


You will be part of the process that supports people to leave hospital earlier, after an illness or fall which has affected their confidence and ability to carry out the activities of daily living. We work with people for a period of up to 42 days topromotetheir confidence and maximise their independence. You will be supervising reablement support assistants and managing the care element of the service users time with the service.


What do I need to have?


You will have experience in providing care to vulnerable adults in the community, and an NVQ/QCF level 3 or equivalent qualification or will be willing to undertake training to complete this whilst in the role. Effective communication skills are key, as is the ability to supervise and motivate your staff and complete assessments and set/review goals with service users in their own homes.


You will have a flexible response to changing needs, be able to work effectively as part of a team and to work without direct supervision. You will also be competent/confident in both
using and supporting the use of technology including data entry.

Please note a valid driving licence, access to a motorised vehicle, and willingness to obtain relevant vehicle business insurance are vital. Be aware that Bristol is subject to Clean Air Zone regulations, which means that older and more polluting vehicles may be charged for travelling into the city.
