A forward-thinking meal kit company in London seeks a Senior Rails Engineer to join their talented team. In this role, you will work closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality features and improve the user experience. Applicants should be fluent in Ruby and modern Rails, and have experience running applications at scale. The position offers flexible remote or hybrid working arrangements.

We’re looking for Senior, product-focused Rails Engineers to help build our modern full-stack Rails web platform.
Collaborating closely with our product and design teams, and the rest of the engineering team, you’ll bring features and products to life following our 6-week cycle Shape Up process.
Fluent in Ruby, and modern Rails embracing Hotwire and Stimulus.
A relentless problem-solver, determined to get things done whether working independently or as part of a team.
Infused with a passion for engineering and solving interesting problems with the simplest solutions at scale.
Experience and understanding of running internet applications at scale on platforms such as Heroku and AWS.
Someone who takes pride in the code base and platform they work on.
Work with a team of exceptional engineers and Principals, taking pride in delivering high quality and modern Rails code.
Have a keen eye for simplification and refactoring in the codebase
Have a product mindset, and want to solve real problems for customers
Identify and implement improvements to performance, user experience, and code quality
Review code, providing clear and actionable feedback for team members to collaborate, learn and grow
Ensure the maintainability and scalability of the platform overall.
