A leading infrastructure consulting firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Rail Traction Power/Substation Engineer to enhance their Electrification & Power team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering traction power and substation projects, ensuring compliance with design standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in traction power and high voltage substation design, and will operate at the Independent Checker level. The position is hybrid, offering opportunities across the UK and internationally.

Qualifications

• Experience in traction power and high voltage substation design.
• Experience delivering projects across feasibility, outline and detailed design stages.
• Experience acting as CRE/Lead Engineer is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for technical oversight and delivery of design packages.
• Coordinate technical delivery across the project team.
• Develop and review project specifications for construction.
