Job summary

Amey Group Information Services Limited in Crawley is seeking a Permanent Senior Civil Engineer – Rail (STE2) to join the CEFA team. Hybrid working, 37.5 hours per week, with responsibility for reviewing examination reports and applying NR standards and risk scoring.

You’ll support the Regional Structures Engineer and CEFA Project Director, handling investigations and providing technical guidance on rail structures across the Southern Region.

Qualifications

• STE2 competency required.
• Experience reviewing examination reports for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, tunnels and ancillary structures.
• Chartered or Incorporated Civil/Structural Engineer desirable.
• Good communication and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Review and submission of examination reports within Southern Region.
• Risk scoring and recommendations in line with NR standards and timescales.
• Provide technical support related to structures examination incidents.
• Undertake Supervising Engineer duties for STE2 and STE4 as directed.
