Job summary

The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool is seeking a Consultant Radiologist to lead oncology imaging, reporting CT, MRI and PET/CT while contributing to multidisciplinary team activities and governance. The role covers three sites and includes opportunities for subspecialty development and teaching.

Qualifications

MBChB or MBBS with GMC registration or eligibility expected within six months.
FRCR (or equivalent) required.
CCT in Radiology or within six months of award if UK trained.
Higher degree (PhD/MD) or equivalent research training.
Certificate of training in communication.

Responsibilities

Report cross‑sectional imaging including CT, MRI and PET/CT.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and protocol development.
Image vetting and expert radiological guidance for oncology colleagues.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and governance.
Teach and supervise medical trainees; engage in audit and subspecialty activity.
