Job summary

West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 6 Senior Radiographer to join the Radiology team. The post operates within a shift system including long days, nights and weekends across Watford, St Albans and Hemel Hempstead.

The role involves imaging services, mentoring juniors, QA testing and IRMER17 compliance, with flexible days off and opportunities across three sites. Applications from Band 5 radiographers progressing to Band 6 are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a radiographer at Band 5 with competencies for Band 6 progression.
• Strong communication and teamwork; able to mentor junior staff and students.
