Job summary

King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Senior Radiographer for the Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington. You will lead radiographic services, participate in site rotations, and support service development within a busy NHS department.

Demonstrated BSc in Diagnostic Radiography with postgrad extension or Band 6 experience in other modalities is preferred. Undertakes out-of-hours duties and adheres to IR(ME)R regulations and QA standards.

Qualifications

• BSc Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.
• Postgraduate training with evidence of Band 5 role extension or Band 6 in other modalities.
• Understanding of clinical governance and QA processes.
• Experience supervising radiographers, radiography students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Position patients accurately and adjust techniques per patient needs.
• Comply with CNST and radiology regulations.
• Assist Radiologists with CT and fluoroscopy where required.
• Provide timely, courteous radiographic services to agreed standards.
