Job summary

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust in East Sussex is seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our Community Radiology Service. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) covers multiple sites including Lewes Victoria Hospital, Uckfield Community Hospital, Chailey Clinical Services and Crowborough War Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in radiography or equivalent professional radiography qualification.
• State registration with the Health Professions Council.
• Evidence of CPD
• Demonstrates a good standard of basic IT skills

Responsibilities

• Carry out x-ray examinations which comply with IRR99 and IR(ME)R2017 and follow Royal College of Radiologists and College of Radiographers guidelines.
• Supervise other staff as per Trust policy.
• Supervise Student Radiographers.
• Perform imaging examinations and care for patients, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
