Job summary

Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic radiographers with subspecialty interest in chest and/or MSK reporting to join our growing reporting hub. The role offers opportunities for lead responsibilities, teaching, and involvement in a seven-day service expansion across multiple sites including Darent Valley Hospital and partner centres.

Applicants should be flexible with shifts, capable of managing a clinical workload, and dedicated to teaching, CPD, and quality improvement

Qualifications

• Diploma of College of Radiographers or BSc in Radiography
• HCPC Registered
• Postgraduate Qualification in Radiographic Reporting
• Evidence of CPD
• Ability to work on own initiative and unsupervised
• Experience of independent plain film reporting
• Experience of undertaking audits

Responsibilities

• Take an advanced role in the activities of the Radiology department.
• Perform a comprehensive range of radiographic procedures.
• Determine the need for additional examinations based on clinical presentation and image appearances.
• Independently interpret plain film radiographs to establish a diagnosis and inform patient management.
• Lead a team with teaching and quality improvement focus.
• Participate in out-of-hours reporting and QA programmes.
