Senior Radiographer
Nuffield Health Cardiff & Vale Hospital | Radiology | Permanent contract | Part Time | Competitive salary, dependent on experience (plus enhancements for on-call)
24 hours per week

Cardiff and Vale Hospitals
Nuffield Health Cardiff and Vale Hospitals provide first class private healthcare to the immediate local areas of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan, as well as across South Wales and surrounding regions. Our two hospitals; The Vale Hospital (mainly in-patients) and Cardiff Bay Hospital (day cases) are multi-specialty hospitals which combine the finest consultants, the latest medical technology, with the unrivalled reputation of Nuffield Health. The Vale Hospital is a purpose built, modern hospital located in beautiful surroundings of the Vale of Glamorgan. We provide 27 in-patient rooms within a very tranquil hospital setting and were recently identified as one of the top 30 most technologically advanced hospitals in the world. We host 2 fully digital ultra clean air operating theatres, an excellent physiotherapy department, 24-hour high dependency, surgical and medical RMO cover and exemplary outpatients and diagnostic service.

Job responsibilities

As a Senior Radiographer at our Cardiff and Vale Hospitals, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification desirable but not essential, and high levels of technical knowledge. You will be required to work across both sites - Cardiff Bay and the Vale Hospital with equipment to include Ultrasound, DR X-ray, Multipurpose Fluoroscopy, Image Intensifiers in theatre and MRI, Mammography (if relevant).

Hours are 24 hours and can be flexible across how and when these are worked. Team operates between Mon-Fri 8am - 8pm, plus on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications
  • You will have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), a postgraduate qualification desirable but not essential, and high levels of technical knowledge.
