Senior Radiographer Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital | Radiology | Permanent contract | Full time | Up to £44,000 per annum depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Main duties of the job

See each patient as an individual, offering understanding and empathy. Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload - in the department, on the ward and in theatre. Work with leading practitioners and cutting-edge practices, equipment and facilities. Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures. Supervise and develop junior colleagues. Ensure a service of the highest quality is delivered with sensitivity and compassion.

Nuffield Health Brentwood Hospital provides a range of services and treatments from outpatients and minor procedures through to inpatients and major surgical specialties. Hospital facilities include 42 beds, 4 Theatres, an Endoscopy Suite, 16 consulting rooms, MRI, CT, General Imaging, Pathology, Physiotherapy, and an onsite Pharmacy. We are established as one of the leading providers of healthcare in the area and have just completed a major refurbishment of the Endoscopy Unit. Job responsibilities

As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you'll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you'll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. As a Senior Radiographer, you will:
