The role:

The Team Lead for the RF & Antenna Team will lead the design, development, and delivery of complex RF systems within the UK defence industry. Responsibilities include technical expertise in RF design (30MHz to 30GHz), leadership, and project management, overseeing a team to deliver innovative solutions on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. There are career progression opportunities in both technical and leadership pathways.

What we want from you:

• Provide technical and functional leadership, inspiring high-performing teams.
• Experience in RF circuit design and testing at the component level across 30MHz to 30GHz, including LNAs, high-power amplifiers, filters, oscillators, synthesizers, and modulators.
• Strong understanding of digital, analog, and power supply design principles.
• Proficiency in RF and antenna design tools (e.g., Microwave Office, HFSS).
• Extensive knowledge of modern radio transceiver system architecture and design.

Security Clearance: British citizenship or dual citizenship with British nationality is required for security clearance.
