Senior Radio Engineer - Radio Communication Solutions Provider

We are partnered with a leading provider of two-way radio communication solutions. With a strong focus on safety and reliability, the company offers a comprehensive range of products and services, including hire, sale, repair, and support. Established in 1990 and with a presence in both the UK and Ireland, they serve a diverse clientele across various sectors, from retail and hospitality to security and emergency services.

We are now helping them in their search for a Senior Radio Engineer to join their growing team. You will support the company’s growth and profitability goals by conducting hardware installations, programming, and repairs. In this role, you will be expected to take a technical lead position within the existing team of engineers and liaise with manufacturers for the company's radio solutions.

The working week will be standard Mon-Fri 08:30 am - 17:00 with an hour for lunch and there will be the opportunity to earn some extra overtime!

Responsibilities:

  • Hardware preparation and installation, radio repairs & programming.
  • Undertake project management and overcome any technical issues that are encountered.
  • Take a technical lead position, liaising with manufacturers for the company radio solutions.
  • Electronic bench engineering skills.
  • Assisting with the technical development of existing staff.
  • To work with the engineering team manager & existing senior radio engineer to create and deliver

    technical training plans to the existing engineering team.

  • Salary & Benefits:

    • Up to £50,000 basic per annum (would send higher if they have 5 years+ DMR experience)
    • Overtime.
    • All expenses for travel paid.
    • Company vehicle.
