Job summary

CHAOS Industries is deploying radar systems across Europe and the Middle East, with a systems engineering team in London and Los Angeles. You’ll own radar performance in the field, calibrate modes, and turn live deployment data into product improvements.

We seek engineers with deep radar knowledge, strong fundamentals, and fluency in Python. Travel about 25% and readiness for on-site work in London are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on radar systems experience.
• Strong fundamentals in radar principles and modes, and ability to reason about the signal chain.
• fluency in Python and ability to turn data from deployments into improvements.

Responsibilities

• Deployed radar performance in the field; diagnose RF, detection, and tracking issues and implement fixes.
• Calibrate, configure, and tune radar modes for diverse environments.
• Characterize detection, tracking, and false-alarm performance against truth data.
• Plan and lead field test campaigns and data collections; translate findings into product improvements.
• Build tooling, diagnostics, and playbooks to enable field deployment by engineers.
• Contribute to system requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria across the V-model.
