JOTA seeks an experienced Chief Truckie for its FIA World Endurance Championship operation, based in Frant, Kent when not travelling. You will lead transport and logistics for race events, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of equipment and readiness of trucks, trailers, and support vehicles.

This senior hands-on role requires exceptional organisation, practical logistics expertise, and strong leadership to support the team across testing and race weekends at circuits worldwide.

Qualifications

• HGV/LGV Class 1 licence held with Driver CPC in good standing.
• Experience with articulated vehicles and high-level motorsport environments.
• Forklift licence preferred; strong mechanical understanding.

Responsabilités

• Drive HGV race transporters to circuits across the UK and international events.
• Transport race cars, spare parts, tools, and equipment safely and on schedule.
• Take overall responsibility for the team’s HGVs, trailers and support vehicles.
• Ensure compliance with driving hours, customs procedures and transport regulations.
• Plan transport schedules and load plans for sea, road and air freight.
• Maintain logistics equipment, stock and workshop infrastructure between events.
• Assist mechanics and operational staff with preparations between events.
• Manage wheels and tyres and support pit crew operations as required.
