Job summary

Infleqtion is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to transform hardware prototypes into manufacturable, scalable quantum products. You will work with diverse teams of hardware, software engineers and physicists to ensure robust system integration throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires 10+ years in systems engineering in high-tech environments and experience with UML/SysML, requirements management, and lifecycle processes.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Systems Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience in complex high-tech environments.
• Experience with full system lifecycle: requirements, architecture, verification & validation.
• Experience with product lifecycle processes for R&D projects in deep tech.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Experience with cross-functional teams across engineering, science, and product.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems engineering for quantum product development and system-level design.
• Create and maintain requirement and interface documents with full traceability.
• Define modelling, simulation, and analysis for design validation and lifecycle performance.
• Plan and support AI&T and V&V activities with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Collaborate on system architectures with physicists and engineers.
• Identify risks and support reliability analysis.
• Promote best practices and continuous improvement in systems engineering.
