PhD in physics required; experience in quantum control, data analysis, and programming (Python or Rust) is valued. Strong collaboration and reporting skills are essential as you push research goals forward.

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or a related discipline.
• Strong background in quantum control and qubit calibration.
• Experience with trapped ions is beneficial.
• Proficiency in programming and data analysis (Python or Rust) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and characterize coherent control and cooling schemes for trapped-ion qubits.
• Calibrate and benchmark quantum systems to maximize fidelities.
• Validate emerging trap technologies and associated electronics/photonics.
• Analyze data, debug hardware/software interactions, ensure reliable qubit operations.
