Job summary

Universal Quantum is seeking a quantum scientist to develop and simulate quantum error correction protocols, tailoring approaches to our hardware. You will design experiments to characterise qubit noise and perform resource estimation for large-scale applications, advising on hardware and software controls to optimise performance.

Applicants should hold a PhD or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in quantum error correction, and have strong communication skills and customer-facing experience.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent experience in quantum information or related field.
• 5+ years of experience involving quantum error correction development and research.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with published results.
• Strong organisational skills and experience engaging with customers and partners.
