Job summary

Nu Quantum, Cambridge-based, is seeking a highly skilled quantum computing researcher to design and benchmark new quantum error correction protocols across a distributed architecture. You will work with theorists and programmers, supported by physicists, and contribute to advancing the company’s quantum information systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration, publishing and presenting findings, and developing code in Python as part of a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• PhD in quantum computing or related area is required or equivalent industry experience.
• Track record of high-quality publications.
• Ability to work in a team and with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with programming in Python.
• Clear communication with internal and external partners.
