Job summary

Aqua Consultants is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You will oversee projects from inception to completion for Aqua clients across the North and Midlands, commuting to client offices and sites as required.

The role emphasizes NEC contract management, cost planning, and strong client leadership. The successful candidate will hold RICS membership or be working towards MRICS, and will enjoy a competitive benefits package, 25 days leave, pension, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• NEC3/4 working knowledge
• Post Contract experience
• Project cost management skills including organisational and diligent skills
• Water Industry or wider utilities experience
• Working towards MRICS / MCICES
• Pre Contract / Contract Documentation experience

Responsibilities

• Responsible for projects from inception to completion.
• Focal point of contact for clients.
• Manage infrastructure projects using NEC.
• Estimating and cost planning.
• Procurement advice.
• Tender documentation completion.
• Contract administration and cost control.
• Cost reporting.
• Final account preparation.
• Attend meetings and site visits.
• Hold a professional membership with RICS.
• Client facing; lead meetings.
• Lead on multiple projects for clients.
• Other appropriate QS and Commercial duties.
• Liaise with clients and contractors daily.
