We prioritize our people and are seeking a skilled Water Senior Quantity Surveyor for our Energy and Sustainable Cities Business Line.

About the Role

Reporting to the Water Cost and Commercial Lead for the UK, your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor involves working primarily with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands, with opportunities in the North West of England and other sectors such as rail or nuclear. You will bring experience in pre- and post-contract management within NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC frameworks, focusing on driving efficiencies and managing supply chains effectively.

You will also have experience with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build projects. We support your personal growth through access to RICS training, career development, and chartership pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing NEC3/4 Option A, C, E contracts on the client side
  • Budget control and cost forecasting
  • Payment valuation and certification support
  • Establishing strong stakeholder relationships
  • Maintaining commercial records and resolving contractual issues
What We Need From You
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Quantity Surveying
  • Full RICS membership or an approved APC route
  • Experience in Rail, Nuclear, Water, or Environment sectors
  • Line management experience
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management
  • Valid CSCS card; Water Hygiene Card preferred
  • Experience with main contractors or joint ventures on client side
  • Site presence of at least 3 days/week
  • Proficiency with NEC3-4 contracts
  • Right to work in the UK
