A leading engineering consultancy based in the UK is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will manage contracts and engage with key stakeholders for water sector projects, leveraging experience with NEC3-4 contracts. Reporting to the Water Cost and Commercial Lead for the UK, your role as Senior Quantity Surveyor will involve delivering work with water companies or the Environment Agency in the Midlands area, predominantly, with the opportunity to work in consultancy roles in the North West of England. However, there will be an opportunity for progression between the UK water, environment, and nuclear sectors.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have knowledge and experience in pre- and post-contract management in NEC 3 or NEC 4 ECC and procurement within the UK water, environment, or nuclear sector. The senior quantity surveyor will be expected to utilise their major project experience and knowledge to drive efficiencies and effective supply chain engagement and contract management.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have experience working with Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) and/or Early Subcontractor Involvement (ESI) in design and build major capital programmes.
