Job summary

Lanes Group plc in Leyland (hybrid & travel to sites) is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support capability, contract and commercial management delivery within the Wastewater Capital Delivery team. This role acts as a conduit between the Commercial Manager and project delivery teams to ensure principal, sub-contract, legislative and internal reporting matters are concluded accurately and on time.

The successful candidate will have strong quantity surveying and commercial management

Qualifications

• Strong quantity surveying and commercial management experience.
• NEC ECC contract management knowledge (Options A, C & E).
• Ability to lead a team and manage subordinates within a project delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Commercial Manager with contract and commercial management requirements across projects.
• Assist with framework set up, compensation events, applications for payment and cashflow forecasting.
• Monitor cost control, value management, risk tracking and reporting for project governance.
• Support final accounts preparation, CVR reviews and cost-to-value analyses.
• Ensure accurate billing, revenue recognition, and commercial audit readiness.
• Maintain robust records and audit trails across contracts.
