Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the United Utilities AMP8 Enterprise Framework Programme team across the North West of England. You will lead day-to-day commercial activities, from inception to completion, and work within a collaborative team to deliver wastewater and related projects.

Applicants should have civils/utilities contract experience, NEC/Target Cost knowledge, a Quantity Surveying degree and be pursuing or have professional membership, plus a driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils or utilities contracts.
• Strong experience with NEC contracts and Target Costs.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying; working towards or attained professional membership.
• Excellent communication skills with client-facing attributes.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, costs and commercial elements while driving profit and cash flow.
• Oversee procurement, subcontract management and change control procedures.
• Forecast project costs and value; prepare monthly payment applications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support and develop junior team members to reach their potential.
