Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the United Utilities AMP8 Enterprise Framework across the North West of England. You will take day-to-day commercial responsibility from inception to completion, collaborating with a dedicated team on wastewater treatment, chemical removal, and water quality projects.

Ideal candidates have civils/utilities experience, NEC contracts expertise, and a Quantity Surveying degree with professional membership.

Qualifications

• Experience in civils or utilities contracts.
• Experience with NEC contracts and Target Costs.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying and professional membership.
• Excellent communication with client-facing skills.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing budgets, costs and commercial elements to drive profit and cash flow.
• Overseeing procurement, subcontract management and change control procedures.
• Monitoring and forecasting project costs and value, preparing monthly applications for payment.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Supporting and developing junior team members to help them reach their potential.
