Calibre Search in Warrington is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Team Leader to join our established Warrington office. The role focuses on post-contract quantity surveying, with exposure to pre-contract work, and requires experience within a consultancy environment.

You will manage QS commissions from inception through to completion, handle cost management and commercial delivery, and provide advice across commercial, residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare and education sectors across

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Good experience across both pre and post-contract quantity surveying, with a particular strength in post-contract work.
• Experience across a range of sectors.
• Strong commercial and client facing skills.
• The confidence to work independently whilst also contributing to a collaborative team.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• A genuine interest in developing their career and taking on additional responsibility.
• Chartered status is not essential. The business is supportive of professional development and provides in-house training and financial support for individuals working towards chartership.
• This role would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for progression and greater responsibility, without wanting to move into a heavily corporate environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing quantity surveying commissions from inception through to completion.
• Taking responsibility for post-contract cost management and commercial delivery.
• Providing quantity surveying advice across a variety of sectors and project types.
• Preparing and reviewing cost plans, valuations, variations, final accounts and commercial reports.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor throughout projects.
• Working closely with project managers, contractors, consultants and other project stakeholders.
• Supporting junior members of the team and contributing to their professional development.
• Assisting with the continued growth and development of the Warrington office.
• Ensuring projects are delivered commercially, professionally and to a high standard.
