Job summary

WJ is recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to own the commercial account on Sizewell C, Suffolk. You will run NEC3/4 contract administration across Tier 1-3, manage CVRs, cashflow forecasts and monthly applications, and report to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.

You will lead the commercial interface with SZC Ltd, the Civil Works Alliance, and subcontractors, build a broader SZC team as the £40M+ pipeline converts, and have a clear route to Managing QS level.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (mandatory).
• 5–8 years’ QS experience in construction/infrastructure.
• 5+ years post-qualification NEC3/4 contract admin experience.
• Senior-level exposure and responsibility expected.

Responsibilities

• Run NEC3/4 contract administration across Tier 1–3 packages.
• Own cost, value, margin and cash on a £20M+ portfolio.
• Prepare CVRs, cashflow forecasts and monthly applications.
• Lead commercial interface with SZC Ltd, CWA and subcontractors.
• Own change management and align with SZC reporting cycles.
• Build and lead an expanded SZC commercial team as the pipeline grows.
