VolkerHighways, based at the Wimbledon depot, seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor for its Street Lighting team to deliver a £20m long-term contract for Kingston upon Thames and Sutton across South London. Role includes commercial management, NEC contract administration and stakeholder liaison.

The candidate should have a degree/HND in Quantity Surveying, experience in street lighting/highways, and strong cost control and reporting skills. Aimed at senior professionals seeking progression.

Formación

• Degree, HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Membership of, or working towards, RICS/CIOB/ICES desirable.
• Experience in street lighting, highways or civil projects.
• EC/NEC contract administration experience.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead commercial management of the Kingston & Sutton Street Lighting contract.
• Produce monthly CVRs, valuations and commercial reports.
• Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, variations and final accounts.
• Administer NEC contracts and protect VolkerHighways' commercial position.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify risks, opportunities and cost efficiencies.
• Build relationships with clients, supply chain partners and stakeholders.
• Support and mentor junior commercial team members.
• Promote compliance with governance requirements.
