Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the SRFI contract at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett in Hertfordshire. The role focuses on commercial leadership, cost control, and robust governance across the project over the next two to three years.

As part of the STRABAG UK team, you will drive valuations, change management, and subcontract administration while ensuring adherence to procedures, monitoring risks, and delivering value engineering and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• Registered with RICS / ICES and working towards Chartership.
• Commercially astute. Excellent knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract and Standard Methods of Measurement.
• Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
• Good communication skills including presentations and ability to negotiate and persuade others.
• Programming techniques, project controls, risk analysis, contract admin, procurement, cost, claims.
• NEC Option A Knowledge and Project Experience at a Senior QS level

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance, support and advice on all commercial issues within the Project(s).
• Development, motivation & performance management of junior staff and delegation of work
• Preparation of internal commercial reporting and cost reports with documentation
• Preparation of valuations/payments with documentation per contract
• Management of subcontractor/supplier accounts and final accounts
