Qualifications

  • Expérience avec un entrepreneur principal essentielle.

Responsibilities

  • Gestion des applications, évaluations et réconciliations de coûts.
  • Préparation de rapports mensuels sur la valeur, coût et flux de trésorerie.
  • Gestion des contrats et conseils contractuels donnés au site.

Job description

We are looking to strengthen our Commercial team with a Quantity Surveyor based at our Anglian Water, Peterborough office with hybrid working available.

You will report directly to the Managing QS and be responsible for several key accounts on large projects or the overall financial control of smaller projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliation.
  • Cost control and forecasting. Prepare and provide information for monthly reports: value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow.
  • Supply chain management.
  • Assisting with Risk and Value Management to optimise solutions. Mentoring and regularly reviewing with the project team.
  • Contract Management – including all relevant contractual forms, methods of budgetary control, and relevant software applications.
  • Preparing subcontract enquiries, negotiating, and setting up contracts.
  • Ensuring all notifications/documents are kept up to date.
  • Ensuring all safety risk situations are brought to the attention of site management.
  • Ongoing liaison with site team, subcontractors, and clients’ representatives.
  • Providing contractual advice to the site team as required.

Essential requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
  • ARICS membership or studying for APC.
  • Experience working with a main contractor.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within Water sector.
  • Knowledge of NEC contracts.
