Job summary

EGIS is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support project managers on a range of construction projects, including power industry decarbonisation initiatives. You will manage commercial activities, procurement, and cost reporting, ensuring value for money and compliance with NEC and FIDIC forms.

Qualifications

• Experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
• Knowledge of FIDIC form of contracts.
• Ability to work remotely from management.
• Experience on construction procurement and cost reporting.
• Own car and full driving licence; willing to travel for company business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external parties.
• Support project team in Establishing commercial contracts and risk guidance.
• Undertake procurement activities and tender analysis.
• Prepare Early Warnings, Compensation Events and PMIs.
• Manage cost reporting and ensure payments are justified.
• Provide contract and risk management support and attend risk reduction meetings.
• Monitor expenditure against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare cashflow forecasts and variance analysis.
• Contribute to and attend financial and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Ensure programme realism and compliance with policies and procedures.
