Amentum is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support decommissioning and nuclear waste programmes at Sellafield. You will provide expert cost management, contract administration and governance across NEC3/4 contracts, working with the Principal Commercial Manager and project teams.

You will lead cost estimation, budgeting, and risk reporting, engage with clients, contractors and suppliers, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining delivery confidence.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in commercial/contract management.
• MRICS or recognised equivalent membership or working towards.
• Proven experience in regulated environments with design/engineering components.
• Strong leadership and strategic guidance across projects.
• Experience with NEC3/4 contracts and public sector procurement.
• Excellent MS Office and cost reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer contracts (NEC3/4) including change control and final accounts.
• Support cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting across decommissioning projects.
• Monitor project financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Engage with teams, suppliers and stakeholders for commercial alignment.
• Ensure compliance with NDA, ONR and governance frameworks.
• Provide leadership within engineering functions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned.
